More Blueberries

Have I mentioned we are hosting an opera singer?
Andrew, a bass baritone from Kensington, Md., is playing the title role in our local production of Puccini’s “Gionni Schecchi.”
Besides being a brilliant performer, Andrew is a terrific guest. He does dishes, cleans the kitchen, vacuums–and he makes a fabulous kale salad.
Andrew dreams of having his own farm one day, so he’s been only too eager helping with chores. He jumped at the chance to help slaughter chickens later this week. Today he asked to harvest blueberries. He returned with a big bowl full.
And he looks so good in the role, don’t you think?
