No More Logging in to Leave Comments

Super-tight security cuts two ways
For readers who have wished they could leave a comment at The Slow Cook but have been thwarted by our security system, there is good news: You no longer need to “log in” in order to leave a comment on the posts that appear here.
Some readers have complained that they simply could not remember their passwords in an electronic world of so many different password demands. Believe me, I feel your pain. Thus, we have asked our web designer to remove that barrier. From now on, you should be able to write your comment and have it posted after filling in one of those boxes with the “captcha” letters. Comments will stil require approval from the editors, so this isn’t a license to smear graffiti all over the site.
We are expecting a flood of comments any second…..
hallelujah! Yours is the only site I subscribe to that required logging in. So frustrating not to be able to comment!
Huzzah! Expect more comments from myself in future. Always loved the blog, hated the comments system.
Yes, often have wanted to leave a comment but password was lost first time around and I just said to myself, forget it. I think your post is great. — barbara
Now your blog will be more “engaging” for everyone!
Yea!!!!!
Woo hoo!
Congratulations, Kevin. You are the instrument of change.
