Catch Me on Kojo’s Show Today

I’ll be on the Kojo Nnamdi show today starting at 1:20 pm, talking about what it takes to create an urban kitchen garden in the nation’s capitol and all the great dishes you can make with foods you grow yourself. Kojo may even be sampling some of the goodies we saved from last year–such as the sweet pickled zucchini that was named “Best D.C.-Grown Food Product” at the first-ever D.C. State Fair.
Kojo airs on WAMU radio, located at 88.5 on the FM dial. If you can’t listen to it live, you can always call up the show from Kojo’s archives and savor it at your leisure.
Great show Ed! I really enjoyed the tips on what grows best in the D.C. area. I’m going to take a chance with okra this year. 🙂
Keep me posted on your okra. We have lots of okra recipes on the site.
