Need a Place to Crash in Boulder

Anywhere for a self-funded journalist here?
I’ll be spending a week in Boulder, Co., to continue covering school food beginning Oct. 30. I need a place to hang my hat that night, as well as Oct. 31 and Nov. 1. I’m good for the rest of the week, when I’ll embed in the school kitchens with Ann Cooper and her crew. If you know anyone who can lend a hand to this self-funded school food journalist, please let me know.
I’m not in Boulder, but I’ve always had great luck with http://www.couchsurfing.com. I never pay for hotels anymore, instead staying at the homes of families. They start as strangers, but sometimes it leads to really neat acquaintances. Check it out!
