Out with the Grownups

Yesterday we loaded our ewe Hannah and her little girl Grace into the back of the pickup and drove them out to join the other livestock grazing on pasture.
For an hour or so, the little lamb was the center of attention. The boy goat and heifer Emily were intensely curious, following the lamb around wherever she went, sniffing, eyeballing, poking. I spent some time inside the electric fencing with them to make sure the lamb wouldn’t get attacked. I wasn’t at all sure how the boy goat Tigger would react. But he wasn’t interested in hurting her. He seems to like the sheep. He just prefers being boss even more.
Emily especially wanted to get a close-up inspection.
The lamb doesn’t seem to mind the attention.
