Paint It Red

My wife finished painting the tool shed and spent about two seconds admiring her work before she moved right along to painting the goat shed.
But wait! The tool shed is now a blue-ish gray Sherwin Williams calls “peppercorn.” The goat shed is a completely different color–“gypsy red.” In my wife’s world, contrast is good. And the traditional barn red one sees on most farms was not good enough. She wanted something that would really stand out.
One thing about red paint, though. It doesn’t cover particularly well. The goat shed will likely require one or two more coats. That could mean a trip back to the hardware store for another gallon of paint.
Anything in the service of good farm design. Do you think the goats will notice?
