First Day of School

Daughter’s transition from urban to rural began officially yesterday with the first day of school. Here in Cambridge, all of the kids–K through 12th grade–attend one central school. The yellow school bus picked daughter up at the end of the driveway in the morning, and brought her back in the afternoon.
She’s already made several new friends and “really likes” her teachers. She’s excited to be learning Latin. She’s even looking forward to eating the school lunch.
Is there something she’s not telling us?

How wonderful! I am so happy for her!
Fantastic! Especially good news about the lunch. Probably can’t take a photo with so few classmates? 🙂
Leila refuses to take photos, Sarah, and threatens to file for a restraining order if I so much as try.
